VIRGINIA BEACH — Can you walk, eat and look at art at the same time? You’ll get your chance to find out this fall during the Arts + Eats walking tour of the ViBe Creative District.

The ViBe Creative District and Taste Virginia Food Tours announced Friday that they are partnering together for a walking food tour that will feature possible stops eateries like Beach Bully BBQ, Chesapeake Bay Distillery, the Stockpot and Three Ships Coffee, according to a news release.

While walking for three to four hours, Arts + Eats guests will stop at eight to six businesses for a bite, tour the district’s local public art projects and learn more about the area’s entrepreneurs.

“I’m excited to partner with Taste Virginia to share my love for the ViBe Creative District and all the incredible small businesses we have here. There’s so much to do and experience beyond the boardwalk,” tour guide Megan Hogan said.

Ten percent of each ticket purchased will go toward public art projects in the district, which already include 35 fence murals, four crosswalk designs and a performance stage in ViBe Park.

The first tour will happen on Sept. 27 from 2-6 p.m. The monthly tours will be planned for the last Wednesday of each month until the end of the year. They may become twice monthly if there is a high demand.
