NORFOLK — Police have made an arrest in the early Monday morning shooting death of a 25-year-old man.
Nathaniel L. Williams, 40, of the 9500 block of 19th Bay Street, is charged with second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony for the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Aaron R. Charles.
Charles, of the 1600 block of Kingsway Drive, was found shot in the 700 block of Lincoln Street around 12:30 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Williams was arrested without incident in Virginia Beach Tuesday, police said. He is being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
