Williamsburg Police are looking for a Nissan truck that went missing Monday morning, as well as the person who may have stolen it.

Police responded to a restaurant on Scotland Street near the intersection of Richmond Road around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley said.

The victim, a man in his 20s, told police he had parked his 1989 Nissan pickup truck in a lot behind Green Leafe Café and Pauls Deli Restaurant around 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Riley said.

The man is an employee of a restaurant in that block of Scotland Street, although Riley declined to say which restaurant he works at.

When he came out of the restaurant around 2:30 a.m., he found his truck was missing, Riley said.

The man did not leave his keys in his vehicle, but did leave the doors unlocked, police said.

The truck has not been recovered. Riley said the truck is black and has Virginia license plates.
