While some guests come for the thrills, others may want to start visiting for the views.
Busch Gardens was recently named the “World’s Most Beautiful Amusement Park” by the National Amusement Park Historical Association.
This was the 27th-consecutive year Busch Gardens has won the award, according to a Busch Gardens press release. The park’s streak dates back to 1990.
“Being recognized as the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Amusement Park’ for 27 consecutive years is a tremendous achievement we’re all very proud of,” said Busch Gardens Williamsburg President David Cromwell. “This award reflects our unparalleled, collective excellence, which is demonstrated daily through a tireless commitment to quality, attention to detail and ownership of the guest experience.”
Founded in 1978, National Amusement Park Historical Association is a not-for-profit corporation that is “dedicated to the preservation, documentation, and enjoyment of the amusement and theme park industry – past, present and future,” according to its website.
The award was a part of NAPHA’s annual Amusement Park and Attractions Survey.
