NORFOLK — Downtown Norfolk Council is partnering with restaurants next month in an effort to engage the community with local eats.

Downtown Norfolk Restaurant Week is July 16-23 and its footprint includes places like the Waterside District to The Main.

“Downtown Restaurant Week is a perfect time to sample a few restaurants, see a show or do a little shopping,” Mary Miller, president and CEO of Downtown Norfolk Council said in a city news release. “We want people to experience as much as they can while they are here.”

A record-high 25 restaurants will participate in the event, offering patrons discounted multi-course meals, lunch and brunch plates. Multi-course meals will range from $25-35, and the daytime fare will cost $12.

According to the release, making reservations is recommended.
