YPSO: Women wanted for passing counterfeit bills

Investigators are looking for two women who they believe passed several hundred dollars in counterfeit bills at a York County Walmart, police said.

Police received reports about two women making large purchases with fake currency on June 20 and 21 at the Tabb Walmart, located at 2601 George Washington Memorial Highway, York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Dennis Ivey said.

Police believe the two women used counterfeit $20 and $50 bills to make the purchases, which were over $350 all together, Ivey said.
