VIRGINIA BEACH — Three bodies were discovered in Virginia Beach in less than 24 hours and police say a man suspected of being responsible for one of them is on the loose.

A body was discovered in an apartment on Monday around 10 a.m. in the 700 block of Gourmet Way.

Police believe Zorobabel Matthan Griggs, 42, is responsible for the death. Griggs is wanted for murder and use of a firearm.

Griggs is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He has gray facial hair, a shaved head, a scar on his cheek and a tattoo that says “Kayos” both on his chest and arm.

Police say Griggs should be considered dangerous as he is known to be violent. If you see him, police ask that you call 911.

Police have not yet released the victim’s name.

Around noon on Sunday, two people were found dead in the 2200 block of Archives Court, police said. Police did not respond to an email from Southside Daily seeking more information.

Anyone with information on these deaths should call the Virginia Beach Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
