Police are looking for a man accused of engaging in “immoral conduct” while hiding in the bushes on Yorktown Beach.

According to Lt. Dennis Ivey of the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, a woman reported on Thursday at 1 p.m. that she noticed a man “playing with himself” while he watched her lying in the picnic area of the beach.

The subject is described as a white male around 30-45 years of age and weighing approximately 230 lbs. He reportedly had a white dog with him as he hid in the bushes.

Another man confronted the subject after the woman said she was alarmed, but the man “hurried off,” Ivey said.

If the public has information about the incident, they are asked to call the crime line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP, or the Facebook Tip Line, at 757-890-4999.
