Be on the lookout for a pair of pit bulls.
The Peninsula Health District are looking for two pit bulls who bit a person behind the Walmart on Rochambeau Road Tuesday, according to a press release from the Health District.
One of the pit bulls is light brown and another is dark brown. Neither was wearing a collar or leash. The victim will have to undergo shots for the prevention of rabies if the dogs are not found.
Anyone who has seen an animal that fits the description is instructed to call Williamsburg Environmental Health at (757) 603-4277. After business hours reports of the animals should be provided to York County Animal Control at (757) 890-3601.
The dogs will not have to be taken away from their owners, once found. Instead, they will be confined to their home for a period of 10 days.
