According to the Virginia Beach Fire Department, a shed in the 900 block of Dauntless Run caught fire around 7 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the shed was completely engulfed in flames and had melted the siding of a nearby house.
It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the fire under control. There was no serious damage to any neighboring homes, according to the VBFD.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
