VIRGINIA BEACH — Virginia Beach is set to get one of two state-funded veterans care centers in the Commonwealth, and residents with questions about it can ask them at a town hall meeting.
The meeting is Monday night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Kellam High School.
The plan is to review and discuss plans for the proposed veterans care center and the Nimmo Parkway extension that could give it an official entryway, according to the latest city manager’s update.
Last week, city council unanimously passed a resolution to transfer 26 acres of land to the state for the facility.
