Williamsburg Police are investigating a report of a peeping Tom at a home in the 100 block of Griffin Avenue, near the William and Mary campus.

Police responded to a phone call about a man outside a woman’s window around 7:15 p.m. Sunday night, Williamsburg Police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley said.

When officers arrived, the victim told police she walked into her bedroom and saw an unknown man on a lower section of roof, looking into her bathroom window, Riley said.

The victim called police immediately, but the man fled the area before police arrived, police said.

There is no further description of the suspect, Riley said.
