VIRGINIA BEACH — A family of three and a cat were displaced after their Virginia Beach home caught fire Tuesday afternoon.
A fire began in a bedroom in a home located in the 5600 block of Zenia Court around 2:15 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Firefighters were on the scene within four minutes and quenched the flames by 2:32 p.m., according to a Virginia Beach Fire Department news release.
The bedroom was damaged by smoke and fire. Nobody was injured.
Officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.
