Police officer, firefighter and security guard hopefuls could have a chance to take a step forward at Tidewater Community College’s Virginia Beach campus this week.
The spring law enforcement and public service career fair and hiring event is Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Joint-Use Library, 1700 College Crescent, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, according to a TCC news release.
Emergency authorities from Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton and others will be available to network with at the event.
Attendees should wear interview-appropriate attire and bring several copies of their resume, according to a TCC news release.
To RSVP, register with TCC’s Career Success Network. Non-TCC students can still register for the event as a guest.
