If having fun, saving money and spending time outside in Colonial Williamsburg are part of your New Year’s resolutions, lace up your ice skates.
Liberty’s Ice Pavilion, 311 Duke of Gloucester St., is rolling out a first-time unlimited season pass, according to a release.
The pass will be good from Jan. 1 through Feb. 20, 2017. The purchase price is $29 for adults and $25 for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
But you’ll need to rent or bring your own skates, since the pass doesn’t include rentals.
Here are some of the pavilion’s other special offers to help keep the winter blues at bay:
- Through Feb. 20, anyone with a military, annual, good neighbor or collegiate pass to Colonial Williamsburg can get a $3 discount on ice-skating admission weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Starting Jan. 1, anyone with a same-day receipt from Merchants Square or a ticket stub from Kimball Theatre can get a $3 discount on skating.
- Anyone with a Colonial Williamsburg pass who buys a daily ticket to Liberty’s Ice Pavilion during January can bring a friend and the friend skates free.
- College students with a student ID get a $4 discount off a daily skating ticket during February.
Regular daily admission to the pavilion costs $12 for skaters who are older than 13. Children between the ages of three and 12 pay $10. Skates are available to rent for $4.25.
Liberty’s Ice Pavilion will be open from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.
