Man with dementia missing from James City County

UPDATE 2:42 p.m.: James Lee Johnson has been located by police and is safe, James City County Police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams said.

First story:

A search is underway for a 54-year-old man with dementia who was reported missing from his James City County residence, according to a James City County Police Department news alert.

James Lee Johnson was last seen at his residence on Camp Road at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the alert said.

Johnson is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 130 pounds. He uses a cane to walk and has a swollen jaw due to an abscessed tooth, the alert said.

He was last seen wearing a camouflage hat with orange markings, a gray shirt and pajama bottoms.
