The Williamsburg Winery has opened a tasting room and wine bar in a new location.
The Shops at Henry Street in Williamsburg’s Merchants Square will host Williamsburg Winery for the duration of the holiday season and into the new year. The Winery opened their tasting room Saturday morning.
Patrick Duffeler II, President and CEO of Williamsburg Winery, said the tasting room and wine bar will be “appealing to people’s thirst for fine Virginia wine in time for the holidays.”
The tasting room and wine bar will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. It is located inside the Shops at Henry Street next to Seasons Restaurant and Tavern.
The Willimasburg Winery owns a 300 acre farm — including a 40 acre vineyard — known as Wessex Hundred, on the south side of the city. The winery was founded in 1985.
