Joining the ranks of cookies, gifts and Santa Claus, Busch Gardens’ Christmas Town has become a Williamsburg holiday tradition that provides warmth and cheer in the cold month of December.

As Busch Gardens gears up for another holiday season, one tradition the park is discarding is the pricing for the winter wonderland.

According to the Christmas Town website, guests will now have the ability to save money when purchasing tickets online ahead of time.

“We are giving guests more opportunities to save on Christmas Town admission by allowing them to choose the dates and prices that best fit their needs. And the earlier you buy, the greater the chance of getting the best value,” the Busch Gardens website states.

Tickets go on sale on Nov. 1, and can be purchased online for as low as $16.  As more tickets are sold for a given date the price will increase, up to a maximum of $38.

Single-day tickets purchased at the park will cost $38.  Purchasing a Christmas Town Fun Card will allow guests unlimited visits to Christmas Town for the price of a single-day ticket.

An active Busch-Gardens membership allows guests to purchase tickets for $24 through the members-only website.

Christmas Town opens on Friday, Nov. 25, and Busch Gardens has promised that it will be back and better than ever.  The park has extended its hours from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day and offers an extra day of operation compared to 2015.

This year’s event will feature many new additions, such as Sesame Street’s  “Forest of Fun,” and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends.  For the first time ever, two of Busch Gardens roller coasters- Verbolten and Tempesto- will be open as a part of Christmas Town.
