A 32-year-old woman is accused of shooting and killing her husband on Sunday afternoon, deputies say.
Lynn Fogarty, 32, was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after police say she shot her husband, Giancarlo Di Fazio, 32, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
York deputies came to the home on the 100 block of Burgundy Road in Williamsburg about three minutes after receiving reports of the shooting Sunday. Di Fazio was dead when deputies and medics arrived, and Fogarty was immediately detained, the post read.
