James City County residents still have the chance to provide their input on the county’s long-term strategic direction by participating in the JCC Strategy 2035 project.
According to a county press release, JCC Strategy 2035 is a planning effort by the county to create a single strategic plan for the next 20 years.
The strategic plan will reflect comments and ideas from citizens and guide county government actions and policies, the release stated.
The county hosted an open house on Monday to collect input from citizens. Those who missed the open house can fill out a survey to provide feedback and list which projects, investments and goals are most important to them.
The county will also be holding a neighborhood forum to discuss the plan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the JCC Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road.
The JCC Strategy 2035 was approved by the Board of Supervisors in 2014 and is designed to incorporate the values and objectives of the community.
