Busch Gardens is seeking ideas from the public for some of the frights in its newest haunted house.
From now until July 24, prospective “victims” of the circus-themed Circo Sinistro haunted house are invited to become “ringmasters” and submit suggestions for the theme of a room.
“Would you rather survive a circle of fire, walk the high wire or something completely different?” the entry form prompts. “You will suggest the scare, but will you survive? It’s Victims’ Choice, choose wisely.”
The best suggestions will be selected for a final vote online, which will take place from July 26 to July 31. Click here to submit an idea.
At Circo Sinistro, “guests encounter a big top experience unlike any they’ve ever seen before…where only the truly disturbed are allowed to perform in its tents of terrors,” according to a news release from Busch Gardens.
The new haunted house replaces the pirate-themed Cut Throat Cove.
Circo Sinistro will be located in Festa Italia in a new scare zone or “Terror-tory” called Sideshow Square. There, “what was once only in your imagination is now a frightening reality full of haunts, curiosities and plenty of scare to make you shriek,” according to the news release.
Howl-O-Scream, which features seven haunted houses and five Terror-tories, begins at 6 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 23 to Oct. 30 at Busch Gardens.
Guests should consider the park’s elevated scare factor when deciding whether Howl-O-Scream is appropriate for young children, the release states.
