A section of Jolly Pond Road will be closed today so crews can complete bridge repairs that began earlier this month.
John Horne, James City County General Services Director, said asphalt work will be finished by close of business today.
The wood deck and railings of the bridge, which goes over the Jolly Pond Road Dam, were replaced at the beginning of February.
Horne said no residents on Jolly Pond Road are land-locked by the closure, as the road is a loop.
