Students in the York County School Division will report to school two hours late Monday.
YCSD announced the two-hour delay around 7 p.m. Sunday, citing the flood condition on several roads throughout the county.
The news release states school personnel, with the help of local emergency management officials, will continue to monitor the road conditions throughout the night to determine whether further delays are necessary.
As of 11:30 p.m. Sunday, several roads in the county have been closed or are under advisory.
Back Creek and Oriana roads are “passable with care,” while Water Street is closed because of flooding. The Coleman Bridge is also under a high wind advisory.
