York County is looking for three citizens who are familiar with employee-management relations to serve on its three-member Employee Grievance Panel.
The Employee Grievance Panel acts as an intermediary between employees and management during disagreements.
Responsibilities of the panel include interpreting policies and procedures on employment-related matters, and conducting reviews when an employee grievance cannot be resolved through employee-management discussions.
The York County Board of Supervisors is looking to appoint panel members of three specific backgrounds.
The board is looking for three individuals who have a background in management of private business, working for a private business or mediation of employee disputes.
