Parking will be temporarily tighter at the Williamsburg Regional Library due to continued work on the Stryker Center.
Beginning later this month, the construction fence surrounding the Stryker Center construction site on North Boundary Street will be extended to allow for the installation of a storm water tank.
The expanded fence will close public access to Library Drive and five to seven parking spaces.
Barry Trott, a spokesman for the library, said WRL had not been given a specific date for when the work would commence. He added the parking spots would become available again after the work had been completed.
Installation of the tank is scheduled to take about 30 days.
The Stryker Center is slated to be the new home of the Williamsburg City Council, replacing the 1950s-era Stryker Building. Library services will also occupy about half of the new building.
Construction on the Stryker Center is expected to continue into January 2016.
