A CSX worker from Williamsburg was fatally struck by a CSX train early Wednesday morning in what authorities are calling an industrial accident.
Keith Lee Eskew, 54, was working at the ACCA train yard in the 2100 block of Westwood Avenue in Richmond when the train struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Henrico County Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said in a news release.
Henrico County Police received the call at around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board.
