New Real Estate Company Opens in James City County

Williamsburg Realty for Active Adults is open for business in James City County’s Courthouse Commons.

The boutique real estate company focuses on working with buyers and sellers who want to retire in the area and with existing homeowners who want to sell their current home to move into an active adult lifestyle community, according to a news release from James City County.

The company is targeting adults 55 and older. There are several active adult communities in the Historic Triangle, including Colonial Heritage, the Settlement at Powhatan Creek and the Villas at Five Forks and Yorktown.

The company is owned and operated by Ellen Smith Gajda, and includes agents Shirley Kappa, Paula Tenenbaum, Scott Bandremer, Iris Graves and Andrea Hudgins.
