A Tervis company store is the newest addition to the Prince George Street business corridor.
Tervis, best known for its line of insulated cups, announced Wednesday the store will open today.
Located at 447 Prince George St., Shop D, the store is the 34th location for the North Venice, Florida-based company. The Merchants Square location was previously occupied by Massey’s Camera Shop from 1973 until its closing in June of this year.
Tervis vice president of stores Lynn Kisser said the location’s proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William & Mary was an attractive feature.
“We love the historical tourist and college atmosphere that this town provides,” Kisser said in the news release. “This location will give Tervis the opportunity to showcase a variety of designs for all types of customers.”
