JCC Offers Virtual Comprehensive Plan Workshop, Welcomes Citizen Input

Toward-2035-Comp-Plan-LogoJames City County citizens who were unable to provide input on the county’s Comprehensive Plan at a meeting may now submit comments through a virtual workshop.

The Community Participation Team – tasked with soliciting input as part of the Comprehensive Plan – is partnering with the county’s planning division to open a virtual workshop for citizen input.

The workshop provides information about the upper, central and lower county, specifically about economic development, transportation and land use. Citizens may take part in the workshop and complete an online questionnaire for the county to consider when revising its Comprehensive Plan, which is a guiding document for future growth.

All input should be received by June 30 in order to be included in a public input summary, but all input will be forwarded to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors for consideration.
