WILLIAMSBURG — WJCC Schools recently announced its level teachers of the year.
According to WJCC Schools, the winners represent its “extraordinary educators at each level.”
- Elementary School Teacher of the Year — Sarah Rapach, music and chorus teacher at D. J. Montague Elementary School
- Middle School Teacher of the Year — Tameka Glover, special education-inclusion teacher at Toano Middle School
- High School Teacher of the Year — Evelyn Whitt, English as a second language teacher at Jamestown High School
Rapach was also named WJCC Schools’ Division-wide Teacher of the Year.
“Our teachers coach, inspire and educate students every day, helping infuse a passion for learning and dreaming big. Our teachers make a difference in students’ lives by imparting an enduring drive to learn. We are excited to celebrate our exceptional educators,” said Williamsburg-James City County Schools Superintendent Olwen Herron.
