HAMPTON — Virginia Peninsula Community College (VPCC) is inviting the community to its 2024 open house events to offer prospective students and their families an opportunity to explore VPCC’s academic offerings.
The open houses are set for April 13 at the Historic Triangle Campus in Williamsburg and April 20 at the Hampton Campus.
Slated from 9 a.m. to noon on both days, attendees will be able to connect with faculty, staff, athletic coaches, and students to gain insight about the college, from tours and demonstrations to discussions about athletics and student activities, the college said.
There will also be a focus on financial aid, including assistance with FAFSA, it added. Attendees will learn about available scholarships, grants and loans, and get personalized guidance on financing their education at VPCC.
In addition to exploring academic programs and financial aid options, prospective students can take advantage of on-site support provided by Admissions, Registration, and Advising representatives, the college said.
The Office of Accessibility will also be available to provide information and assistance for students with disabilities. Plus, the Military and Veteran Services team will be on hand sharing information about the many services VPCC offers military-affiliated students, including active duty, veterans, spouses and dependents, according to the college.
Recent high school graduates, working professionals seeking career advancement, or those looking to explore new interests are welcome. For more information, visit vpcc.edu/open house.
