WILLIAMSBURG — Local nonprofit CultureFix is hosting a full slate of activities Nov. 3-5, with Chowderfest, Goat Yoga, a Country Smash concert and nOktoberfest all taking place under a tented venue at Jamestown Beach Event Park.
- Chowderfest is on Nov. 3 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tickets include endless chowder from local restaurants and one drink ticket. Attendees can vote for their favorite chowder and the winners will be announced during the event. BJ Griffin, as seen on this year on “America’s Got Talent,” is taking the stage.
- Goat Yoga happens on Nov. 4 from 10-11 a.m., and following yoga, the Country Smash with country music, beer, and food trucks starts at noon. The music lineup includes Drew Pace Band, Robbie Bradshaw, and Cody Christian Band.
- Finally, nOktoberfest is on Nov. 5 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. A ticket includes craft beers, pretzels, live entertainment with Bavarian Dancers, and a performance by The Polka Brothers. German food by Culture Cafe will be available for purchase separately . nOktoberfest is the Williamsburg area’s largest authentic Oktoberfest event and takes place under a huge tent.
With the exception of lawn chairs for Country Smash, outside coolers, alcoholic beverages, and lawn chairs are not permitted.
