WILLIAMSBURG — Colonial Williamsburg’s Summer Breeze outdoor concert series will return to the Lawn of the Art Museums on July 3 with The United States Air Force Heritage of America band.
The series will feature an eclectic lineup of Americana, blues, country and brass bands curated in association with the Virginia Arts Festival. Additionally, boutique music ensembles and soloists will perform on select evenings throughout the summer in Merchants Square, designed to enhance the community’s shopping and dining experience.
The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band will be performing on Community Appreciation Day to help usher in the celebration before Independence Day on July 4.
The rest of the Summer Breeze Concert Series lineup for 2023 is as follows:
- July 13 — Empire Strikes Brass (Brass Funk Rock)
- July 20 — Good Shot Judy (Big Band Jazz Swing)
- July 27 — Chest Fever (Official Revival of “The Band”)
- Aug. 3 — Corey Harris (Blues & Roots)
- Aug. 10 — The Shootouts (Honky Tonk, Western Swing)
- Aug. 17 — Bill and the Belles (Americana, Country Strings)
The first concert on July 3 will be from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. on the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. All subsequent concerts will be from 6-8 p.m. at the same location.
