WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Winery will continue its music series on Monday, May 22 with “Sip and Symphony” in the Susan Constant Hall Tasting Room.
The performance will feature The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director Michael Butterman on piano and Alana Carithers on violin, treating patrons in the Tasting Room to a special presentation of classical interludes.
This event follows on the heels of a performance by Opera in Williamsburg earlier this month — “A Classical Cabaret at Wessex Hundred” — held on May 1. The primary inspiration for both May performances is to open up a new door at the winery to provide different activities for people to enjoy, it said.
Cabaret style, guests will have the opportunity to speak to the performers between pieces.
The performances are free to the public as capacity allows. Guests who wish to order flights of wine are recommended to come early, as during the performance, the winery will be switching to bar service for glasses or bottles of wine.
The performance will be held from 2-3:15 p.m. in the Williamsburg Winery’s Susan Constant Hall Tasting Room.
