WILLIAMSBURG — 2nd Sundays Williamsburg by LoveLight Placemaking is kicking off its 14th Year on Sunday, Mar. 12.
On its website, 2nd Sundays lays claim to being the only “almost year-round Arts & Street Festival” in Williamsburg where visitors can stroll the streets of Colonial Williamsburg and take in unique arts, handcrafts and live music in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
This first event of the season will spread out over six blocks and feature over 130 unique artisans this month.
The Main Stage at Stryker Center, near the Food trucks & Beer Garden, will feature Karl Werne, Michael Lille, Bobby Hornsby and Dan Martier from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following will be a drum circle with Daniel Scruggs for all ages and abilities from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by the Irish Drinking Band from 2:45 to 5 p.m.
Other musicians and groups performing include Nadia Koz, Rose & Sword Academy of Irish Dance and Zack Artis on Storyteller Stage, Scott Kale & Jake Ryan and Charlton Phaneuf at College Corner, an all-day acoustic jam with Wolph and Donnaka (Irishman Dennis O’Riordan).
