Concert Ballet of Virginia Performing at Williamsburg Library Saturday

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Library will be hosting the Concert Ballet of Virginia on July 16 for a performance of “Pecos Bill.”

The Concert Ballet of Virginia is a nonprofit ballet company based in Ashland. The company aims to foster an appreciation of classical and contemporary dance by staging affordable full-scale productions at convenient locations throughout the state while providing excellent training and challenging creative opportunities within a professionally-mounted dance company.

The performance of Pecos Bill is part of the Concert Ballet of Virginia’s storybook series geared toward children and families. The performance is a 45-minute kid-friendly show that is designed to stimulate and encourage the desire to read.

The show will be at the Williamsburg location on July 16 starting at 1 p.m. Reservations do not need to be made in advance. For more upcoming events visit the library’s event calendar.
