WILLIAMSBURG — Another sellout audience of The Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House concert series — featuring Wherligig on Nov. 8 — has resulted in a donation of $1,400 to the SpiritWorks Foundation.

The SpiritWorks Foundation works to break the intergenerational cycle of addiction in families by educating, equipping, empowering and celebrating individuals, families, faith leaders, and communities on the journey from addiction to recovery and beyond.

The Three Jolly Coachmen Coffee House concert series, which began in September 2022, donates a portion of each concert’s ticket sales, as well as 100% of additional donations for drinks, to a chosen charity.

So far, it has given a total of $17,100 to several Williamsburg-area charities, including Faith In Action, Williamsburg House of Mercy, Meals on Wheels, Blooms That Brighten and Colonial CASA.

The next Three Jolly Coachmen’s Coffee House concert will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, and will feature the Coffee House hosts The Three Jolly Coachmen, a Kingston Trio tribute group.

After Jan. 10, three dates are remaining in the season — Saturday, March 8, will feature the Bagels & Fraylox Klezmer Band; Friday, May 9, the Three Jolly Coachmen return for another set of Kingston Trio tunes; and Friday, July 11 will be Hootenanny Night, back by request and featuring folk songs sung by performers popular in the 1960s and early 1970s.
