WILLIAMSBURG— Chesapeake Bay Writers (CBW) invites the community to celebrate its annual End-of-year Celebration on Nov. 13 at Anna’s Brick Oven in Williamsburg.
CBW announced the festive event will offer an evening of authentic Italian cuisine, lively literary readings, and community spirit.
The evening will include recognition of participants in the Golden Nib
Competition, with awards presented to this year’s Golden Nib winners for their stories, poems, and essays.
CBW says the highlight of the night is an open-mic contest, where authors are invited to read an eight-minute excerpt of their work.
Attendees will vote for the works that resonate with them the most, selecting the top three winners. To participate, authors must register in advance.
