WILLIAMSBURG— Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center (WCAC) member artists and Virginia artists in the Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond areas are invited to submit up to three original works to the WCAC 2024 Regional Juried Show.
WCAC announced that this year’s show will run from Sept. 18 through Nov. 1. Works completed on or after Jan. 1, 2021 that have not been previously shown at WCAC are eligible for entry. All media, styles, techniques, and original family-friendly subject matter are eligible. Works conceived from photos must be the artists’ own and not infringe on any copyrights, and generative AI works are prohibited. WCAC reserves the right to refuse entry of any work.
This year’s juror is Doug Mock, a signature member of the Virginia Watercolor Society and Southern Watercolor Society and an award-winning watercolor artist and educator from the Northern Neck of Virginia. Mock is also the president of the RAL Art Center in Rappahannock.
All entries will be processed through EntryThingy.com, including applications, image files and payment, WCAC noted. Entries are due by Friday, July 26.
