WILLIAMSBURG — The Summer Breeze Concert Series has been nominated for the 2023 Veer Music Awards in the Best Live Music (Local) category.
The seasonal event, sponsored by the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, CultureFix, Merchants Square, and the City of Williamsburg, kicked off on June 22 with shows every Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. through Aug. 31. All concerts took place on the lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg and were free and open to the public.
Veer Magazine covers arts and entertainment in the Hampton Roads area.
“Summer Breeze is a lot of hard work, but the rewards of seeing so many locals coming out week after week make it all worthwhile. We are very excited to be nominated,” Steve Rose, Founder of CultureFix, commented about the nomination.
According to the nomination page, voting for the categories is now open on the Veer Magazine official website. Each category will also have a write-in option for anyone who may have been overlooked.
