YORKTOWN — Yorktown is seeking an array of talented artists to add a touch of creative flair to the Yorktown waterfront for its 10th Annual “Art at the River” Juried Art Show slated for Sunday, May 7.
Applications for artists are currently open and will be until Feb. 1.
This show is presented by the Art at the River Committee in conjunction with the Yorktown Foundation and York County.
According to the county, original works that will be accepted include:
- Painting
- Clay
- Glass
- Fiber
- Basketry
- Leather
- Wood
- Graphics
- Photography
- Musical instruments
- Mixed media
The rules stress that items must be conceived and executed solely by the exhibiting artist, and all work must be for sale during the show with the artist present.
The committee extended a special thanks to the Williamsburg Area and York County Arts Commissions for their continued support of the event.
