WILLIAMSBURG — The College of William and Mary will close at 4 p.m. today, Jan. 3, due to the probability of icy conditions and remain closed until 10 a.m. on Jan. 4.
According to a press release put out by the University, the later opening time tomorrow will give campus work crews a chance to clear pathways and parking areas.
The press release went on to ask those living on campus to refrain from using candles and gas-powered appliances in the event that the campus suffers a power outage.
All students, staff and faculty can get updated information through the university’s mass notification system, local media and the William and Mary Facebook and Twitter pages.
