JCCPD Still Seeking Information Regarding Suspect in September Robbery

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is still seeking further information regarding a suspect from a September robbery.

In the evening of Sept. 26, JCCPD was dispatched regarding a robbery that took place at the CVS located at 7529 Richmond Rd.

According to a release from JCCPD, the suspect entered the store, grabbed one of the store’s employees, forced said employee to the cash drawer and demanded money from it. Once the employee opened the register, the suspect took cash from the drawer, and left on foot.

The suspect is described as Black American, standing 6 feet 1 inch, and weighing approximately 190 lbs. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black apron, black mask which covered his face and no shoes.

Those who call the Crime Line or submit through P3Tips may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
