UPDATE: Armed Male Barricades Himself in Williamsburg Home

WILLIAMSBURG — The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) released information regarding a barricaded subject situation in Williamsburg.

At 1:41 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, YPSO was dispatched to a residence at the 100 block of Wellington Drive to perform a welfare check. At that time, YPSO discovered an armed male subject who barricaded himself inside the home.

YPSO has advised neighbors to stay in their homes.

The situation is still unfolding and YPSO continues to ask neighbors to remain inside at this time.
