James City County Police Seeking Assistance to Locate Suspect

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted person.

JCCPD is looking for William Lucius Moody, Jr., 45, whose last known address was on Nottingham Trail in Newport News.

Moody is wanted on three outstanding warrants out of Williamsburg/James City County General District Courty for felony breaking and entering (two counts) and simple assault.

He is described as standing 6 feet 1 inch and weighing approximately 200 lbs.

Residents who have information which may help JCCPD locate Moody are encouraged to call the department at (757) 253-1800 or the Crime Line at (888) LOCK-U-UP (562-5887). Residents can also submit tips through the website, P3Tips.com. JCCPD wants to remind residents that callers to the Crime Line and users of P3Tips may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court, and may be eligible for up to $1,000 reward for information provided that leads to an arrest.
