The list below covers full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and single-lane closures at the bridge-tunnels and the Coleman, High Rise and James River bridges.
Scheduled closures are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.

Bridges & Tunnels
Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:
- Mobile, single-lane closures eastbound Nov. 3 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel, I-664:
- Single-lane closures northbound Nov. 1-4 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Berkley Bridge, I-264
- Single-lane closure westbound Nov. 4 from 7-9 p.m.
James River Bridge, Route 17
- Alternating, mobile, single-lane closures in both directions Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Elizabeth River Tunnels (Downtown/Midtown Tunnels):
- Go to Elizabeth River Tunnels for maintenance schedules on the Downtown Tunnel (I-264), Midtown Tunnel (U.S. 58) and MLK Expressway (Route 164).
Interstate 64 (I-64)
I-64 Widening Segment III Project, York County:
- Single-lane closures on I-64 east and west from Route 199/Newman Road (exit 234) in Lightfoot to Route 199/Humelsine Parkway (exit 242) as needed Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 starting as early as 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- New traffic patterns shifting traffic to the right on I-64 west:
- from west of Route 199/Humelsine Parkway (exit 242) to the Queens Creek Bridge to begin as early as Oct. 31.
- from the Queens Creek Bridge to west of Route 199/Newman Road (exit 234) to begin as early as Nov. 2.

- Full ramp closures on I-64 west off-ramp to Route 143/Camp Peary (exit 238) Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Single-lane closure on Route 143/Merrimac Trail north near the I-64 overpass Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- A consecutive, long-term full ramp closure and diversion on the existing Route 199/Newman Road west on-ramp to I-64 west in Lightfoot continues. Westbound traffic on Route 199/Newman Road to follow detour signage in place directing motorists to a new temporary median crossover to access the Route 199/Newman Road east on-ramp to I-64 west during the closure.
- A consecutive, long-term full ramp closure on Route 143/Merrimac Trail north to I-64 west continues. Traffic will follow detour signage in place directing motorists to the Route 143 south on-ramp to I-64 west during the closure
I-64, Denbigh Boulevard Bridge Replacement Project, Newport News:
- Double-lane closures at the Denbigh Boulevard overpass with brief, intermittent stoppages:
- on I-64 east Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- on I-64 west Nov. 2-4 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- New traffic pattern closing the far left lane and shifting the three traffic lanes to the right on I-64 west near the Denbigh Boulevard overpass beginning overnight as early as Nov. 2.
I-64 Hampton
- Alternating, single-lane closure on the off-ramp from I-64 west to I-664 south (exit 264A):
- Nov. 1-4 from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Nov. 5-6 from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
I-64, Southside Widening, High Rise Bridge Expansion:

- Triple-lane closures on I-64 east between Indian River Road (exit 286) in Virginia Beach and Greenbrier Parkway (exit 289A/B) in Chesapeake Oct. 29 starting as early as 11 p.m. to as late as 3 a.m., with brief, intermittent stoppages.
I-64, Chesapeake:
- Triple-lane closures on I-64 west between Greenbrier Parkway (exit 289A/B) and Battlefield Boulevard (exit 290) Oct. 26 starting as early as 11 p.m. to as late as 3 a.m., with brief, intermittent stoppages.
I-64, Norfolk:
- Full closure of the I-64 east off-ramp to Northampton Boulevard north (exit 282A) Nov. 1-4 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Full closure of the on-ramp from Northampton Boulevard south (Route 13) to I-64 east and west Nov. 1-5 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Full closure of the on-ramp from Northampton Boulevard north (Route 13) to I-64 east Nov. 1-5 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Interstate 264 (I-264)

I-264, Norfolk:
- Full closure of the I-264 west off-ramp to I-64 west (exit 14B) Nov. 1-4 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Full closure of the I-264 east (inside set) off-ramp to I-64 west (exit 14C) Nov. 1-4 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Interstate 564 (I-564)
I-64, Norfolk:
- Consecutive, double-lane closures on I-564 west between the I-64 west interchange and Terminal Boulevard:
- Starting Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. through Nov. 1 at 4 a.m.
- Starting Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. through Nov. 8 at 4 a.m.
Interstate 664 (I-664)
I-664, Hampton:
