WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg chapter of the American Outlaws, the nationally-organized support group that follows the men’s and women’s national teams, will meet at Revolution Golf and Grill Saturday morning for the battle against The Netherlands in the Round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Williamsburg chapter became the 200th official chapter just over two years ago, and meets for each USA game, holding watch parties as well as traveling to away games.
Chapter president Alex Spirn said in an email more than 300 people attended the watch party for the England match, and has put out a call to the community to come out and support the U.S. against the Netherlands at 10 a.m. on Saturday. “If you like celebrating with the masses as hundreds collectively gasp and cheer — this is where you want to be. If you want a seat — Arrive early!”
