Liberty Ice Pavilion is Open for the Winter Season

WILLIAMSBURG — The holiday season is now in full swing, and with that comes fun winter activities like outdoor ice skating at the Liberty Ice Pavilion.

Located at Duke of Gloucester Street, the Liberty Ice Pavilion opened for the season on Nov. 18, and will remain open daily through Feb. 26.

On top of enjoying the festive sights and sounds in Colonial Williamsburg and Merchant Square, visitors to the Liberty Ice Pavilion can also enjoy hot coffee and cider served near the rink.

Parking is available at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, in the nearby Merchants Square lots, or in the paid parking garage on Henry Street, according to Colonial Williamsburg.

Skating one-day Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for youth (ages 3-12). Children under three years old are free. Skates are available for rent at $5.61 per ticket.

Families may also purchase an Ice Skating Season Pass. Adult tickets are $110, and youth are $95.

According to Colonial Williamsburg’s website, tickets or passes may be purchased online, with e-tickets delivered via email. Those tickets may be used during your visit or accessed through your digital account.

The ice rink is open daily, operating hours differ depending on the day. A full schedule of times has been provided on Colonial Williamsburg’s website.
