
WILLIAMSBURG — The William & Mary Board of Visitors will hold meetings in Williamsburg and in South Prince George at Richard Bland College on Nov. 17-18.
The purpose of the meetings is to conduct regular business of the board, William & Mary (W&M) said in a press release.
The Richard Bland College Committee will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Barn Theater on the Richard Bland College campus, located at 530 Carson Drive, South Prince George. The committee meeting will be followed by a meeting of the full board and is expected to conclude at 1:30 p.m., according to the release.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., committee meetings will resume in the Alumni House, located at 500 Richmond Road in Williamsburg. Those meetings should conclude at 6:30 p.m., William & Mary said.
At 7 p.m., the board will attend a dinner in The Rockefeller Building, located across the street from the Williamsburg Lodge at 3010 S. England St., adjacent to the Fountain Garden.
On Friday, Nov. 18, committee meetings will resume at 8:30 a.m. in the Alumni House followed by a meeting of the full board. The full board meeting is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 1:30 p.m., it said.
At approximately 3 p.m., the board will meet at the Muscarelle Museum of Art, 603 Jamestown Road, to attend a groundbreaking for the Martha Wren Briggs Center for the Visual Arts.
The Friday meeting of the full board will take place at the board’s usual meeting location and will be live-streamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at wm.edu/bovmeeting.
William & Mary notes all times are approximate, and the board reserves the right to adjust the schedule as necessary. A detailed schedule for the board and committee meetings can be found on the Board of Visitors webpage.
The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment, the W&M said.
