WILLIAMSBURG — After earning another victory against a nationally ranked opponent last weekend, the William & Mary football team moved up in both national polls.
W&M jumped to No. 8 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and No. 9 in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. It marks the Tribe’s highest national ranking since 2015.
The Tribe owns a 7-1 record and is off to its best start since 2009.
W&M will return to action when it plays at Hampton on Saturday at 1 p.m.
